What is a river rafting expedition?
Rafting expeditions are multi day rafting trips in which there are no fixed camps, all the gear and logistics needed for survival (like dome tents, kitchen, sleeping bags, personal belongings) are carried in cargo rafts along with other rafts.
Where do we stay during the expedition?
In expeditions we stay in dome tents provided with sleeping bags and ground mats. It is not as luxurious as the River camps but this is the best possible arrangement considering "completely self supported" nature of the trip.
What all should I bring during expeditions?
a) Shorts and T-Shirts for rafting (apart from normal clothes according to season)
b) Sandals (with straps), no leather shoes
c) Back packs (no suitcases or hard top luggage)
d) Flashlight
e) Sunscreen
f) Retainers for spectacles
g) Personal medications
h) Camera + batteries
